There are many factors that are taken into account and they are all built into an algorithm that only Google knows. It would be rather unfair if everyone knew how this worked and it would become ineffective. <br />The Pagerank Myth <br />Far too many people focus too much on their Pagerank to determine how their webpage ranks in Google. This isna�? t how the system works; Pagerank is a product of good SEO. Just because you have a good Pagerank it doesna�? t necessary mean your page will rank highly for a particular keyphrase.
