Temat postu: Chopard Grand Prix de Monaco Historique Time Attac
Most of the time, it seems that the cost cutting is the only rolex?thing that popular and the only aim for watch makers as profits. However, nowadays, the trend is down, and creating new and complicated mechanical movement is a practice that is frowned upon. Therefore, watch makers get innovative, and this is typically good news for watch buyers. Take for example this funny new watch that I like from Chopard. The model is the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique Time Attack MF. The timepiece is the first digital LCD screen I have ever seen on a racing model from the brand - it is also one of the few or only timepieces in this watch line to have a Swiss quartz movement. I like how they integrate "historic" with LCD panels. Styling is simple while very satisfying. The 42.5mm wide steel case comes with a finely rendered style and the dial is quite easy to read and live with. The negative color LCD screen enables operating a lot of functionalities such as a chronograph, alarms, second timezone, calendar, and countdown timer easy. The screen looks to be of a top quality therefore it won't look like you are wearing some strange Frankenstein replica timepiece. Actually the movement is possiblely to be a thermo-compensated quartz, since it is certified as a COSC Chronometer - which has particular requirements for quartz watches with regarding to precision and giving them such certification.
I favor the retro styling of the watch at the same time. The portholes that made in the leather strap and the thinner lugs and tachymeter style on the bezel all come with a 1970s feel to them. Some people are undoubtedly going to complain that you shouldn't have to pay Chopard prices just for a quartz timepiece- however the brand is worth something, and their capability of designing a nice watch is worth more. Moreover, like I said above, the price of this timepiece is probably to be less than mechanical watches because of the type of movement. Generally, I like that watch. Maybe this watch model is not the most desirable Chopard racing watch for all the watch lovers and fans; however, it will be the perfect accessory certainly for enough people.
