| I went here on a Thursday evening around 6:30pm and sat at the bar. We were acknowledged pretty quickly but the bartender was busy with another patron. However,wholesale Monster headphones, he did get our New Castle draft beer within 5 min and ordered our $4 cheeseburger/chips before 7p (the cut-off time for early happy hour).
It turns out they have an early happy hour (4p-7p) with all appetizers being $4. Appetizer selection ranging from crab cakes and buffalo wings to quesadillas,cheap jimmy choos, shrimp,mens true religion jeans, and cheeseburgers. They also have a late night happy hour (9p-11p I think it is) where draft beer is discounted from ~$7 to $4. I believe appetizers were on sale during the late night happy hour as well. The atmosphere was alright. It's very Polynesian meets Japanese style. The staff were very friendly as it was slow and they could be very attentive. The rather large (but not overbearing) LCDs were showing the latest basketball game therefore making a sports night very do-able. Most patrons were older business-suit types in for an after-work drink. |
