| Hamstring to sideline Wright for month and a half
Although a hamstring strain could sideline Bears rookie safety Major Wright for a month and a half or longer, according to a league source, starter Chris Harris Jersey sees no reason to panic. "I wouldn't say it's a setback,'' Chris Harris Jersey said. "This might be the deepest safety group I've been around. It might be a setback for (Wright), but I think we have good guys in our room.'' Placing Wright on injured reserve doesn't appear to be in the immediate plans,NFL Jerseys, but that's always an option. "Right now I'm just going off what the trainers are telling me,'' said Wright, who also suffered a fractured index finger and groin pull during the preseason. "(The hamstring) just felt really tight. I'm taking it day by day.'' Without Wright, both Chris Harris Jersey and Manning, the starting strong safety, might have to log heavy minutes, particularly Monday night against the Packers. Josh Bullocks and Craig Steltz are the reserves, with Steltz finally recovered from an ankle injury. "Steltz and Bullocks know what's going on,'' Chris Harris Jersey said. "We'll be fine with those two back there.'' In last season's opener in Green Bay, the Packers squeaked out a 21-15 victory thanks, in part, to the Bears' poor safety play.
