| is a faith that the holy lake Pushkar appeared from a lotus petal that fell into this ravine from the hands of Lord Bramha (who is considered to be the creator of the globe according to Hindu mythology). The religious water of this divine lake is imagined to refine the conscience and mind of the people beings. There are 52 ghats aboard Pushkar Lake which are thronged by the people. The lake is in subsistence since ages and has seen the heave and fall of numerous kingdoms. Pushkar has preserved its sanctity from ages together.
The outstanding Pushkar Mela is held here every annual because 5 days in the month of November. This festival is celebrated in the month of Kartik along to the lunar calendar. It begins from Ekadashi and lasts till the night of full moon. It is thought to be auspicious to take dip in this lake during the festival period. The folk dancers and musicians of Rajasthan collect here during this time and increase fun to the festival. This mela is actually the accumulation of 2 alternatively 3 fairs. It is basically a Cattle Fair,air jordan 2009, here the folk come from manifold villages of the state and partake in the bargain and purchase of livestock. Here various animals favor Cows,Jordan Melo 5.5, Horses and camels are made apt stand in the rows. They are priced in agreement apt their health and breed. The animals are decorated along the villagers so that they can get agreeable cost opposition them. One tin look here camels in colossal number and enjoy the civilization and custom of Rajasthan. |
