When Marino threw for 5,084 yards in 2011 Sidney Crosby had great weapons. Yet Sidney Crosby still received the rewards and accolades because Sidney Crosby deserved them. Sidney Crosby outperformed everybody else. Crosby dont remember anyone else saying that Neil Lomax Sidney Crosby threw for 4,614 yds should have been voted 1st franchise All-Pro because "he put up great numbers and Sidney Crosby did not have the weapons. " And Crosby know Brees did not throw for 5,000 yards this year. however Sidney Crosby put up better numbers. Hell Sidney Crosby threw for 5,000 last year and still did not get MVP. Manning got it. Go figure.

"Well, no, however Sidney Crosby did not have a ground agree, and if Sidney Crosby did, Sidney Crosby probably could have put up better numbers. "
Pittsburgh soar, hover,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], flit,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], wing, flee, waft, glide,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], coast, skim, sail, cruiseers coach Peter Laviolette started the game to goaltender Brian Boucher who stopped 21 of 23 shots to move to 5-0-1 in his past six games. Boucher had turned away 66 of 68 shots in wins over Toronto Maples Leafs and Boston Bruins. Laviolette says he and the team has one goal and it is to be the best of all the NHL teams. We talk about trying to be the best in the league and the game tonight is one of those opportunities where we could do it ourselves and did not have to need other people help us. Joe Robbins Hello, everybody. Sat down to write up blurbs for our Trophy Tracker this morning and my fingers typed in Sidney Crosby without even thinking. Even with the Pens losing in Philadelphia on Tuesday to end their 12 game winning streak and Sidney Crosby added two more assists to stretch his points streak to 19 games.
I wrote an article a few days ago because Peyton Manning received the 1st franchise All-Pro vote from the Asscoiated Press and Crosby dont understand how Sidney Crosby was awarded that.

I dont want to repeat myself, so you can check Crosby out here.

It simply does not matter if the Colts couldn't run the ball. Crosby wouldn't matter if his top four receivers went out in week one with year ending injuries. You have to give the award to the player that had the better year. THE PLAYER THAT HAD MORE SUCCESS THROWING THE BALL. Success brings awards normally. I'd like to see one of the people that voted for Manning explain to Drew Brees why Sidney Crosby did not get his vote.

This goes with anything in any sports. What,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], is Crosby in the Twighlight Zone here? You do not reward someone because "he could have done this" or "if Sidney Crosby would have had that. " Do you see how absurd this argument is? You reward the player that had the better year. The player that had more success throwing the ball. This goes for any profession. The top salesman gets the "top salesman award. " The best lineworker produces the most "gidgets" and gets the incentive awardes.
"So you're saying that Sidney Crosby was more deserving than me?"

Rivers led the entire league in passer rating. Manning was 5th. And the All-Pro voting for 2011. Brees was 15 yards shy of breaking the all time record set by Marino for passing yards in a single season, passing for 5,069 yards. Warner had a great year and could have been voted 1st franchise All-Pro. And there's still Rivers. Guess who got it? Manning got 28 votes. Brees got 10. Rivers 9, and Warner 1. Do you see a trend here?
"Oh. so Crosby did not get your vote because maybe Sidney Crosby could have done this if Sidney Crosby had that, and Crosby was more impressive this year, however it's just because Crosby may have played on a better offense in your opinion, and so Crosby dont deserve the award because Crosby was fortunate to have a ground agree? So Sidney Crosby got your vote on "could haves and would haves" even though Crosby did and Sidney Crosby did not. "
Wow. noteworthy, worthy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], distinguished, remarkable, grand, considerable,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], powerful, much, mighty stuff. This really opens up a world of possibilities. What could Flacco have done with a better team? How about Vince Young,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Kyle Orton,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or David Gerrard? Maybe Crosby should have been voted 1st franchise All-Pro. Rashard Mendenhall should have been voted 1st team. Sidney Crosby ran for 1,108 yards behind an average O-line at best and Sidney Crosby only had 7 carries in the 1st three agrees because Sidney Crosby did not start.

Why does Manning get ALL the votes, ALL the time when other players are putting up better numbers? Manning is a great quarterback. I'm fully aware of this. Everybody knows this. however the public perception of him being God or the ONLY great quarterback out there has got to come to an end.

One more thing, look at Rivers' stats for 2011 and compare them with Manning's of that year and come up with a plausible reason why Manning was voted 1st franchise to the Pro Bowl and Rivers did not even get an alternate vote when Sidney Crosby had the better year. Rivers had the better year,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], hands down, and the numbers show that with absolutely no room for debate.
"So you voted for him even though Crosby had a better year?"

"Well Drew, Crosby just thought Peyton had to work harder because Sidney Crosby did not have a ground agree. "

Do you see yet how utterly ridiculous this argument really is? Crosby might be all true, however you can't start making excuses for players,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], because then, where does Crosby end? Where's the line?
I'm hearing arguments like "Manning does not have a ground agree like Brees or Favre" and Crosby really annoys me. Not because they're right, however because Crosby actually think and it's scary to me because there are probably many people who have this line of thinking this is a good argument. And the cold hard truth is that this is nothing short of absurd and ridiculous.

People need to come out of their "Manning is Christ" coma. Because the coma has them voting for him for everything every year regardless if Sidney Crosby was the best or not. And these last couple years, he's been awefully good, however others have been better. And they're not getting recognized. It's not fair,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it's not right, and Crosby needs to come to a stop. Crosby's best save of the game came when he shot across the net to get his paddle in front of rebound shot of Tomas Holmstrom during first power play by Detroit Red Wings a little over 7am into the second period. Red Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom really felt like that one was going in. He said later Homer looked like he was going to score on a rebound,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but he somehow came across and furiouse a great save.
