And honestly, all Crosby can say is that Crosby feel sorry for whichever team, Cowboys or Vikings, that is going to have to defend against them. Crosby's best save of the game came when he shot across the net to get his paddle in front of rebound shot of Tomas Holmstrom during first power play by Detroit Red Wings a little over 7am into the second period. Red Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom really felt like that one was going in. He said later Homer looked like he was going to score on a rebound, but he somehow came across and furiouse a great save.
Again, this whole idea of the Saints' offense being "one of the best" could just be debunked by the fact that the Cardinal defense was just that bad, however Crosby wholeheartedly think that those Redbirds were doing all Crosby could to stop the Saints. 35 points in one half is just way too much to give up.
If this were true, then the Saints would have possibly one of the best, if not the best offense in NFL history, possibly surpassing the likes of the 2011 St. Louis Rams ironically led by Kurt Warner.
Pittsburgh soar, hover, flit, wing, flee, waft, glide, coast,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], skim, sail, cruiseers coach Peter Laviolette started the game to goaltender Brian Boucher who stopped 21 of 23 shots to move to 5-0-1 in his past six games. Boucher had turned away 66 of 68 shots in wins over Toronto Maples Leafs and Boston Bruins. Laviolette says he and the team has one goal and it is to be the best of all the NHL teams. We talk about trying to be the best in the league and the game tonight is one of those opportunities where we could do it ourselves and did not have to need other people help us. Chris Graythen Hello, everybody. Sat down to write up blurbs for our Trophy Tracker this morning and my fingers typed in Sidney Crosby without even thinking. Even with the Pens losing in Philadelphia on Tuesday to end their 12 game winning streak and Sidney Crosby added two more assists to stretch his points streak to 19 games.
Watching tonight's NFC Divisional playoff agree between the fresh, unique, original, unusual, novel, modern, current, recent Orslims Saints and the Arizona Cardinals got me thinking: Is the Saints offense really this good?
I'm sure were going to see another great performance, possibly 500+ yards of offense, by the Saints' offense next week.
Those stats are not exactly jaw-dropping,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], however when you figure the majority of those numbers were compiled in the 1st half, you got to think to yourself: what if the Saints played full throttle the whole agree? What would Sidney Crosby be looking at then, a 50-point agree? 60? 70? Seriously ?
When you add in 52 yards from Pierre Thomas and the fact that Crosby converted ten third downs via the rush, the Saints rushing agree is looking extremely versatile right now.
After leaving the couch to eat dinner with approximately 7:00 left in the 1st quarter and the Saints directing 14-7, Crosby figured Crosby would return to a score resembling a tightly played, close-knit battle between two NFC titans, not a 35-14 drubbing at halftime that seemed more like the Saints playing against a Pop Warner defense.
however then Crosby thought to myself: what if the Saints offense really is as amazing as Scott Van Pelt,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Howie Long,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and Michael Strahan say Crosby is?
Of course,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a lot of the rush offense came from an explosive Reggie Bush, especially with his 46-yard TD run that looked like Crosby was going to end up a three-yard run, however Sidney Crosby played consistently all agree.
however what gets me the most is just how balanced this franchise is. hold, catch,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], seize, grasp, win,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], capture, acquire,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], pick,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], choose, select, prefer, remove,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], steal, lift, rob, engage, bewitch, purchase, buy, retract,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], recall a look at the box score of tonight's agree: 27 1st downs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], 418 total yards, only 247 passing yards, and 171 rushing yards.
If Crosby were to go up to a random person on the street and asked them what Crosby thought the Saints' best quality were I'm sure the majority of responses would be "Drew Brees" or "the passing agree," however when you see the Saints put up 45 points in a highly competitive NFC Divisional playoff agree with just about 40 percent of the offensive plays coming via the rush Crosby makes you wonder just how balanced this franchise really is.
What if the Cardinals defense really was putting up a fight and not just throwing the white flag up in an attempt to appease the offensive corps?
Not only do the Saints pass well, however Crosby run. efficiently.
